When God Breathes
The smell of God’s breath is undeniable
When God Breathes may sound like there may be times when God does not breathe. On the contrary, God is breath.
Without the breath of God, there would be no life—and if God stopped breathing out, we would stop breathing in. Not only does the breath of God impart life, but His breath is also the only thing that can sustain life.
When God formed the physical body from the dust of the ground for humanity to live in, it was lifeless. “And the Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground” (Genesis 2:7 NKJV). The physical body was created vacant. It was only a suit for the spirit and soul to live in. The body in and of itself, cannot know God, love God, or serve God. It was formed with no life residing within.
But when God breathes, things come alive. Now humanity has the ability to know God, love God, and to serve God. What made this possible?
